I love that they used a Bach melody for a pop song.

And while there might not have been YouTube, 1965 was, with the exception of the Vietnam war, were good times!

A timeless classic, performed by timeless beauties of a bygone era…pure talent, disciplined sensual and powerful…so much more than todays female singers who need to show and shake too much booty just to sell their songs…Go the TOYS!!!!

Check them out on the video from the movie “It’s A Bikini World”! Awesome and just as beautiful a song as this one.

During this time there were no voice modulators to help the ‘vocally challenged’ these girls from the 50s and 60s had no choice, you either sing or hit the door! no hype back then, just pure talent. To think that someone like Jennifer Lopez, could pass herself off as a singer, is just laughable!! and Rhianna is worse!

It does, it possibly stems from the fact I was listening to this song while studying Hitler for my Bachelors in History.

Brittany and Madonna and J-LO and Pink and Rhianna and any of them cant get with the real deal!!! Everyone today is a cheap wannabe of these girls and the rest of the Real Soul Music Generation.

For some reason this song makes me think of Hitler committing suicide in his bunker at the end of WW2… It’s honestly what I associate this song with….

Does somebody know the story of how the creators of this song were inspired to put words to the Minuet in G from Anna Magdalena’s Book?
